The body is as much me as is the heart, the will or any other part of my being. To be present as my body, to locate my consciousness there and to identify with reality through my simple physical being as though it holds all my consciousness in itself is to affirm the spiritual value of the material being in as much as God became flesh in Jesus. In doing so God located God's being in physical form - God hallows earthly reality.
