The Life of God which Jesus brings, in its essence, is inter-relational and kenotic (self emptying love) We are connected with all around us lovingly and livingly. This is in its fullness both a radical, reckless and unmeasured giving of ourselves and a radical open acceptance in receiving (Whitehead's term 'prehending') - that is - to truly love is both to radically give and radically receive. This is what happened when Jesus died on the Cross - a total outpouring of love and a radical acceptance of the moment and (in this case it's most awful) contents.
