Laziness is only occupied with those things which could be labeled necessary action - Things that need doing. We can so preoccupy ourselves (and appear very busy as well!) that we say we never have time for creativity or novelty ... We are merely driven along by necessity. Our willing becomes weak. Life becomes boring ... We drift because we gravitate to unthinking necessity - as all colours reduce to a grey normalcy. We must detect the lure of creativity and use the gift of spontaneity when it beckons and not step back in fear.
